The philosophy of the print department is student centred, encouraging printmaking majors to gain conceptual, technical and practical in-dependence. Students focus on acquiring techniques with which to explore traditional and contemporary ideas, and attain conceptual skills in order to manipulate the print as visual language.
The print workshop is equipped to teach and extend the disciplines of woodcut technique, etching, silkscreen, lithography, type-setting (moveable type) and papermaking.
Individual creative research and personal expressiveness culminate in a professional and independent degree exhibition at the end of the fourth year.
