The Quay School of the Arts is located on the banks of the Whanganui River and is only a block from the Central Business District of Wanganui. The Quay School, nestled in the historic turn of the century warehouse district is part of a newly completed complex of buildiings which house the award winning schools of Graphic Design, Fashion and Culinary Arts amongst others. The Quay School is within an easy walk of the Sarjeant Art Gallery, the Whanganui Regional Museum, the Wanganui District Library and dealer galleries. Our own galleries, the Edith Gallery and the Federal Hotel Gallery support student, faculty and visiting artist exhibitions.
